Bridging the Gap: A YOUth led intergenerational conversation about healthy Relationships @ Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture - Library

Along with Black History month, February marks the month of Teen Dating Violence Prevention.
Just As I Am YOUth Empowerment along with Ethics for Children of The Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture invites you to a YOUth-led intergenerational workshop to encourage open dialog between youth and significant adults in their community. In partnership with the NYC Alliance Against Sexual Assault, the JAIA YOUth Council found that youth are picking up bad advice about sex, dating and relationsihps from their peers and the media. For many reasons there seems to be a lack of real talk between youth and the significant adults in their lives. Join us for an evening of experiential exercises and discussion and let’s see how we can bridge this gap together as a community!
