Children in Foster Care and Families receiving Preventive Services are supported by multiple NY State, NYC and not for profit agency computer systems. BSEC member Tom Castelnuovo will explain how Federal, State, City and Agency representatives are now working to integrate these systems and where this 21st century process fits in the history of ethical initiatives.
Tom Castelnuovo has been a member of BSEC since 2006, serving as Board Treasurer for 9 years. He is now treasurer of the American Ethical Union.
Professionally, Tom has served as a consultant developing New York’s Parking Violations and Special Education Systems, Director of Computer Systems and services for what is now the Administration for Children’s Services, IT Director for Graham Windham Services and now as Director of Data Management for SCO Family of Services. He has been a member of the NY State Connections committee since 1994 and started and now chairs something called the COFCCA-CCWIS committee, which he will describe in his talk. Tom has BS and Master of City Planning degrees from MIT and an MBA from Yale.
