This colloquy is planned to offer participants the opportunity to use music, collage, participatory and meditative methods to reflect upon and share some of the experiences and meanings offered us by this past twelve tumultuous and ethically challenging months. Those who want to venture into 2018 planning, are offed a simple method in personal planning they can take home to complete.

And later, at evening, you are all welcome to BSEC New Year’s EVENING through MIDNIGHT New Year’s celebrations for all ages.

Lisel Burns, facilitator of this colloquy, was a clergy leader at the BSEC from 1990-2008. During that time she also facilitated events on five continents that brought major grassroots women community leaders together to exchange mutual support, learning sand best practices, through Neighborhood Women and then www.Huairou.org which continues today in 50 countries. Presently she operates an informal guesthouse at her house in Park Slope donating 30% of guest fees to a partner project in Leogane Haiti, NegesFoundation.org. Neges is a longtime partner of BSEC Ethical Action, founded by former BSEC Board member Yoleine Gateau, who spends ten months there each year.
