Care For… A Short Film Series

Under the guidance of Ethics for Children Teacher Laura Borgwardt, our Coming of Age teens, Saskia Walsh and Beatrice Beckler, have taken a deep dive into the 5 Care For’s that our Ethics for Children Program is based upon: Caring for self, family, community, society and the earth. Join us for the presentation of their culminating project: A series of short films in a variety of genres conceived, written, directed, produced and starred in by Beatrice & Saskia. This premier screening will be followed by a Q & A and celebration of their completion of the Coming of Age program.

About the Presenters:
Saskia Walsh has been a part of the Ethics for Children Program since the fall of 2018 and Beatrice Beckler joined the program in January of 2023. They are the first students to complete a Coming of Age program with Brooklyn Ethical since 2017.
