Bio:
Valerie Francis, an African Caribbean Environmental Educator, also known as Teach, raised her son in her native town of Brooklyn. This tree hugger has worked in the green industry for federal and city government agencies as well as not for profits for over 35 years. In this role she has focused on sustainability, better health outcomes for her extended family and gender and racial equity.
