Get Out the Vote with Congregation Beth Elohim

BSEC is co-sponsoring CBE’s postcards to voters’ efforts. They will be meeting at our building on Wednesday, August 17th from 6-8pm. Please join them. Their information is below:

Join us as we take action to protect all people’s right to vote. Working with “Reclaim our Vote” and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, we are reaching out by postcard (phone calls will come later) to voters in rural counties who regularly face voter suppression or who vote inconsistently. In joyful community, we will work together to make sure that voters have the information they need to vote early and we will hear about upcoming voter engagement efforts for the 2022 General Election, including an important climate bond measure on the New York State ballot.

We will postcard in the side yard at Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, and we will have all materials needed to participate. If you already have a packet of materials, feel free to bring them and join us! And folks new to this work are welcome! All are welcome to bring refreshments and snacks to share.
