Brooklyn Mourners Common

Please note that Brooklyn Mourners Common will not be meeting on Monday, January 26. We look forward to gathering again and hope to see everyone on February 23.

Brooklyn Mourners Common is a monthly in-person gathering for people who have experienced the death of a loved one — a space to share, reflect and find support in the company of others who understand. While there’s no roadmap for grief, there is community. The Brooklyn Mourner’s Common invites all grievers – no matter who they lost or when – to join this circle where we express, acknowledge, and process grief together.

This event is facilitated by Jennifer Bleyer, LMSW. A psychotherapist, social worker and longtime Brooklynite, she is passionate about fostering a sense of community and connection among those who have experienced loss; normalizing and honoring grief, and creating spaces where all feelings are welcome.
