Stay after Sunday Platform for a screening of Drowned Land, a powerful documentary about a community fighting to protect the Kiamichi River in southeastern Oklahoma. The film follows water protectors working to defend their land, culture, and environment from ongoing exploitation and displacement.

Through personal stories and stunning visuals, Drowned Land explores the deep connection between people and place, and what’s at stake when that relationship is threatened. It’s a moving look at environmental justice, Indigenous sovereignty, and the long history that shapes both.
