Calling all science explorers, curious minds, and nature lovers! Join us for an unforgettable, hands-on Science Day all about the fascinating world of insects! Meet live, adorable crawlies up close, unleash your creativity with fun bug-themed crafts, and experience the thrill of a live insect release! We’ll deepen our understanding of these often undervalued animals with a captivating documentary, “The Extraordinary Caterpillar” (from Homegrown National Park). Featuring mind-blowing, close-up macro photography, this film reveals the secret life of nature’s “tiniest superheroes”, showing how these strange, colorful, and fantastical little creatures actually keep our entire planet alive, and what we can do to protect them.
