Ethics for Children – Hybrid Classes with Service Days

Our Ethics for Children program offers a fun, safe, interactive learning environment for kids to explore important topics that affect their lives, fostering empathy and a deeper understanding of self and others. We use art, theatre, games, stories, music, discussion, reflection, and action to empower students to make a difference in their world.

Our program does not impose a fixed set of values or beliefs. Rather our goal is to provide a forum where students can identify their own values, expand their knowledge and gain skills essential to developing and following their own moral compass and voice.

This fall we are offering a hybrid program. In addition to virtual classes on zoom, students will have the opportunity to put ethics into action with monthly in-person* service events. Students will also receive a ‘Care kit’ of supplies to be used for in-class activities.
Each virtual class will feature one of the 5 major principles of our program: Care for the self, family, community, earth, and world. As the program progresses, we will customize the curriculum guided by student interest. Previous lessons have included topics such as rising sea levels, ableism, animal welfare, educational access & emotional selfcare. Service activities will be likewise influenced by student passion.

3:30 to 4:30pm – Growing Ethics (ages 6-10yo)

December 5 (Service), 9 (Game Night),13, 20

Fall Semester $150 (10 session + Family Game Night event)
