As the world shifts digital, we might be underestimating the power of in-person interaction, not only for our own mental wellbeing, but for the health of our societies and governments.

About the Speaker
Peter Endriss has taken a bit of a winding road leading up to his role as the Executive Director of Community Help in Park Slope (CHiPS) in June of 2023. He studied Natural Resource Management as an undergraduate, and then Civil Engineering as a graduate student, but was always pulled to food service. After opening his own bakery and restaurant, Runner & Stone, in 2012, Peter became involved with CHiPS in 2014 by organizing a few local business fundraisers, and then, their first gala. From there, he joined the Board of Directors, where he served for 7 years. After stepping away from Runner & Stone in early 2023, he knew that his future lied at the intersection of food service and social service, and he was thrilled at the opportunity to begin working at CHiPS – an organization that he has loved and respected for years.
