A Winter Solstice Celebration
When: Sunday December 21st 12:30 PM
Where: via Zoom & In-Person at 269 4th Avenue
You must register above to receive Zoom link.
This Community Sharing Circle is our traditional exploration of the Winter Solstice and how humans relate to seasonal darkness and light. We will also share how we strengthen our own and others’ inner light. Poems, songs, a share of our individual musings, and the Ethical Culture Candle Lighting Ceremony will guide us as we honor this time of seasonal transformation. A celebratory potluck follows the program. Please bring food or drink to share.
With music by Barely Lace.

Barely Lace took their name from a character in a friend’s dream residing in a realm between worlds, lending guidance and protection to woodland beings passing through. Formed from an extended partnership between Annie Roland Loney and Carrie Chapman, Barely Lace offers a repertoire of esoteric original music as well as traditional European ballads, seasonal fare and contemporary covers. They weave vocal harmonies through inspiriting melodies upon a backdrop of mandolin or guitar in a style they call ‘acoustic trance’.
