Songs of Resistance with Brooklyn Ethical Voices
In this session, we will practice skills for singing in the streets. Come if you’d like to improve your skills as a singer or as a song leader. Come to be a participant, learn songs, and support those practicing their teaching skills.
The space is intergenerational and open to anyone with a voice and a willingness to participate. The focus is healing, courage, and community building through collective song.
We’ll also discuss upcoming opportunities for street singing, such as local protests and larger city-wide actions.
Free and open to the public. Just bring yourself. Please RSVP to this event to ensure a spot at the rehearsal.
