Collecting for Food Banks in Need

During this time of great need, when people are struggling with food insecurity. Brooklyn Ethical will be collecting food donations of non-perishables to be brought to Food Banks in areas of Brooklyn where the need is greatest.

There are 2 ways to donate. Please bring non-perishable, not expired, sealed foods to Brooklyn Ethical at 269 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
We will be accepting donations this Wednesday, November 12 between 12 and 6 pm, and Sunday, November 16th, between 11:30 and 3:30 pm. Some of the most requested items are:
Canned protein, baby food and baby formula, pantry staples, like Flour, sugar, or condiments, canned beans, peanut butter, canned vegetables, cooking oils and spices, pasta and pasta sauce, and toiletries. Other non-perishables are also very welcome.
If you prefer to make a monetary contribution, you can donate on our donation page (https://bsec.org/donate/). Please select the “Donate for Food Bank Collection” check box. Monetary donations will be used to purchase fresh fruit and vegetables for delivery to the food banks.

Please help us spread the word and bring donations!
