Participating in Community with Shahana Hanif (Hybrid)

Council Member Hanif Welcomes a new season at the new Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture.
On September 15th we will welcome our City Council Member Shahana Hanif to our season-opening platform service at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture. Join us at our new home on 4th Ave, only blocks from our Council Member’s new office in Gowanus, to gather as a community to hear some of the defining issues in our district and our city as we explore our shared purpose and values towards a more ethical, just and peaceful Brooklyn and beyond.

Council Member Shahana Hanif represents New York City’s 39th Council District, which includes parts of Kensington, Borough Park, Windsor Terrace, Park Slope, Gowanus, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and the Columbia Waterfront. She is the first Bangladeshi and Muslim woman elected to the New York City Council and the first woman to represent the 39th District.
