Food Delivery and related resources:

DOE Free meals
Any New Yorker who wants one can get free meals at more than 400 Meal Hubs across the city. Each person can get up to 3 meals each day.

Food Bank NYC
Operates food pantries and soup kitchens and directs you to SNAP enrollment sites.

Invisible Hands Delivery Service
Invisible Hands is powered by engaged, healthy volunteers who deliver groceries, medication, and other essential items to those who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19. They are primarily focused on supporting the elderly, disabled, and immunocompromised.

Met Council
MET council’s community services are still operating during the pandemic: they have a confidential hotline for victims of domestic violence at (212) 453-9618, as well as a helpline for seniors needing free assistance with SNAP enrollment, emergency home repairs, or tax filings, accessible at (929) 292-9261.

NYC Food Delivery Assistance
If you cannot go out to get food, no one can bring you food, and you are not able to use private delivery options, New York City will deliver emergency meals to you.

Operation Feed Brooklyn:
Currently, They are supporting NYP/Methodist, Maimonides, & SUNY Downstate Hospitals in Brooklyn, New York, with weekly meal deliveries of 200-400 meals, and the need is growing.
