Facing NYC’s Composting Crisis (Hybrid)

The Mayor’s 2025 budget plans include decimating the nonprofit community-based composting initiatives. Thousands of signatures to “Save Our Compost” have been collected with broad support from city council members. And there is a curbside ‘compost’ collection in place, but is it composting for soils or oils? These and other issues are why we are facing our current composting crisis.
