Earth Day! Greening/ Cleaning/ Food Collection / Community Day on 4th Ave
We will join the Park Slope Civic Council, FOFA (4th on 4th Ave) and the Old Stone House for a neighborhood cleaning day, caring for trees and the avenue.
We will join neighbors to clean the avenue, welcome spring and celebrate Earth Day. Members and friends of Brooklyn Ethical can find other friends to beautify the avenue at our new home.
Brooklyn Ethical will be providing hospitality for neighborhood volunteers. Stop in to cool down, fuel up, take a bio-break or drop off donations for the food drive. We are collecting donations for Camp Friendship, which distributes food each week to over 500 households in need, including food deliveries to homebound seniors.
They have requested canned Goods, non-perishable foods, and diapers, specifically, what is listed below:
Beans 15 oz
Rice 1 lb bags
Canned tuna or chicken
Canned soup
Tomato sauce
Pasta
Please check expiration dates before donating
Diapers: sizes 3-6 most popular
