Get Out the Vote with Congregation Beth Elohim

BSEC is co-sponsoring CBE’s postcards to voters’ efforts. They will be meeting at our building on Wednesday, September 14th from 6-8pm. Please join them. Their information is below:

On Wednesday, September 14, from 6-8pm we will, again, postcard in person with the Reclaim our Vote campaign. Several of you joined us in August, thank you!  We look forward to another joyful community-building event. 

We will be meeting at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, 53 Prospect Park West, in their garden.  Thank you to the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture for partnering with us on this work and providing space for this gathering!

Joining us will be Brooklyn ROV volunteers generally, as well as members of postcarding teams at Brooklyn Heights Synagogue, First Presbyterian Church, Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture, among other groups.

Please bring your own postcarding materials if you have them! We will provide materials to any volunteers who need them as we continue our campaign in Georgia – no experience needed to join.  We will learn about other ways to get involved in the 2022 General Election as well as information on an important climate bond measure that will be on the New York State ballot.

We will have some light refreshments, but you may want to bring your own as well.  And we will request a small donation to cover the cost of the stamps.
